Forum Communications Company, parent company of RiverTown Multimedia, has signed a purchase agreement for the RiverTown Multimedia building at 2815 Prairie Drive. The agreement was unanimously approved at Tuesday night's City Council meeting. Though the building is set to be sold, Publisher Neal Ronquist said the company is committed to maintaining a presence in the local communities currently served by that building. According to rfmainstreet.com, The River Falls Main Street Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 1989. The group is charged with helping the River Falls Main Street business community with façade improvements, signage and beautification projects. The objective of the BID is to encourage business improvement and development by offering façade and sign grants to businesses and property owners in the River Falls downtown BID District. File photo
