River Falls vs. La Crosse Central
Third-seeded River Falls will host No. 4 La Crosse Central in a WIAA Division 2 sectional semifinal to see who will play in Saturday’s sectional final game for the right to go to state. The Wildcats, fresh off a 1-0 win over second-seeded Onalaska, take a record of 11-5-2 into the match while La Crosse Central is 10-2-3. The winner will face either top-seeded Pulaski or No. 3 Green Bay Southwest from the other side of the bracket Saturday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. in Pulaski for a berth in the state tournament.

River Falls vs. D.C. Everest
The top-seeded Wildcats, 24-1 on the season, are seeking their sixth straight trip to state and will square off against No. 5 D.C. Everest in the first of two WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinals Thursday night in Wausau. Second-seeded Chippewa Falls and No. 3 Marshfield meet in the other semifinal with the winners moving on to the sectional championship match Saturday, Oct. 30, in Chippewa Falls.

River Falls at Waunakee
Fourth-seeded River Falls advanced to Level 2 of the WIAA Division 2 playoffs with a 29-6 victory over No. 5 La Crosse Central last Friday and its reward is a trip to top-ranked and undefeated Waunakee, who took care of No. 8 Marshfield 54-14 last week.
