Three games to watch

Both the River Falls High School and UW-River Falls football teams will host their homecoming games this weekend.

Golf

WIAA Division 1 Regional

New Richmond, Hudson and River Falls have been the top three teams in the Big Rivers Conference all season and will look to be among the top four teams to advance to next week’s sectional. The top four individuals who are not members of qualifying teams will also move on.

Football

River Falls vs. West Salem

The top two teams in the Mississippi Valley Conference square off in a game that will likely determine the conference champion. Both the Wildcats and Titans come in 4-0 in MVC play. It is also homecoming for the Wildcats and their last home game of the regular season.

Football

UW-River Falls vs. UW-La Crosse

UW-River Falls is off to its best start since 1996 with a 3-0 record and will open Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play in its homecoming game against UW-La Crosse, who enters the game 2-1 in nonconference play.
