Golfers fourth at Troy Burne

Braedon Harer shot a 39 to finish just outside of the top five but no other Wildcat broke 40 as the Cats placed fourth at a 9-hole Big Rivers Conference match at Troy Burne Tuesday, May 7.

River Falls finished with a team score of 164 while host Hudson extended its lead in the conference standings with a first place score of 155. Eau Claire Memorial was one stroke behind with 156 and Rice Lake was third with 158.

Harer's 39 left him tied for sixth place individually. Taylor Thompson was close behind with 40 and Taylor Rotsaert shot 42 while Max Xiong finished at 43 and Justin Gratz shot 50. Braeden Resnick of Rice Lake earned medalist honors with a 34.

The Wildcats competed at the Eau Claire Memorial Invitational Tuesday, May 14 at Wild Ridge before the Big Rivers Conference Tournament Thursday, May 16, at Lake Wissota Golf Course in Chippewa Falls.
