Boys Basketball: Cats win third straight

JT Dougherty led three Wildcats in double figures with 16 points and Adam Feyereisen came up two assists short of a triple double as River Falls posted its third straight win, 58-40 over Menomonie Friday night, Dec. 14, in River Falls.

Feyereisen registered his second straight double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds while also dishing out eight assists and coming up with four steals. Zac Johnson added 12 points and Liam Dougherty scored eight as the Cats hit 50 percent of their shots from the field.

River Falls improved to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the Big Rivers Conference, while Menomonie dropped to 2-4, 0-3 in the BRC.

The Wildcats will visit Middle Border Conference leader New Richmond (3-2, 3-0) Tuesday, Dec. 18.
