Wellhaven column: Christmas fun at Wellhaven

The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season is upon us at Wellhaven Senior Living. Our decorations are up and the Christmas programs have begun.

Each year, Wellhaven provides a community event called Tree of Love. During the event, we focus on memorializing and honoring our friends and loved ones. In honor of each of our tenants at Wellhaven, we placed an ornament decorated with their names on the tree. Our Tree of Love event helps to remind everyone how much they are loved. Wellhaven tenants and team members act as a family and are blessed to have one another.

We also celebrated by hosting a Christmas party with the River Falls Senior Center. Following the meal, one of our tenants surprised everyone with a visit from Santa Claus. Pastor Kenley Mann, Chaplain at Wellhaven, hosted a fun Christmas sing-a-long.

To continue the fun after the holiday season, Wellhaven will be hosting a Senior Pizza Party Luau with the River Falls Senior Center at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4 at Wellhaven Senior Living. All River Falls seniors are welcome to attend the party.

From our Wellhaven family to yours, Merry Christmas!
