In 2009, the River Falls Senior Center moved into Wellhaven Senior Living. The Senior Center activities are a large part of Wellhaven's social calendar. With the Senior Center's move to Wellhaven new opportunities arose.

Scheduled games are one opportunity that community seniors and Wellhaven tenants enjoy. Seniors come to play games such as Bridge, Euchre and 500. Some of these games require the changing of partners and at times players get to make new friends.

"I think the Friday Senior Bridge is a nice way for people at a social level to enjoy themselves. We really appreciate Wellhaven hosting the card games," said Bob Jeffrey, the host of Duplicate Bridge.

"New players are always welcome," said Faye Simone, director at the Senior Center.

Many seniors who play games go early to take advantage of the $5 meal that is available at Wellhaven.

All seniors are welcome to attend the following activities through the Senior Center and Wellhaven.

Every Monday at 1 p.m., join us for BINGO.

Every Wednesday at 1 p.m., join us for cards.

First and third Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., Bob hosts Duplicate Bridge.

Every Friday at 1 p.m., join us for Bridge and 500.

If have questions about activities or meals for seniors, contact Faye at 715-425-9932.

"Wellhaven welcomes seniors in the community to join us for any activity or event," said Beth Ann Schultz, property manager at Wellhaven. "There is always something going on here and the partnership with Senior Center makes it easy for seniors to get involved."

Thank you for those that joined us for our Mother's Day Celebration. We hope to see you for the Men's B.B.Q. in celebration of Father's Day on June 15 at 5 p.m. To RSVP, call Laura at 715-426-4633.
