On Friday, Dec. 17, around 11 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle accident with injury on U.S. Highway 10 at County Road E in Prescott, Wis.

It was determined an eastbound Chevy Malibu, operated by Naomi Dolton, 21, of Racine, Minn., was turning northbound onto County Road E from U.S. Highway 10, when an eastbound Chevy Express Van, operated by James Bigott, 29, of Elmwood, Wis., rear-ended Dolton’s vehicle.

Dolton was extricated from her vehicle by Prescott Fire Department and was transported from the scene by Allina Ambulance Service to Region’s Hospital in Saint Paul with undetermined injuries. 

Bigott was transported from the scene to Regina Hospital in Hastings, Minn., with undetermined injuries.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Prescott Fire Department, Allina Ambulance Service and Wisconsin State Patrol.
