A single motorcycle crash occurred around 5:55 p.m. Sept. 4 near the intersection of Highway 35 and 1050th Street Prescott, Wis.

Ronald Bithell, 59, of Minneapolis was pronounced dead at the scene after losing control of a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling north on Highway 35. Bithell lost control, crossed the centerline and entered into the west ditch. He was ejected from the motorcycle.

Deputies arrived on scene and began performing lifesaving measures with no success. 

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Prescott Police Department, Prescott Fire Department and Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service.
