Thefts

A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 9:31 p.m. April 14 from Cascade Avenue. The complainant told police the vehicle was last driven on April 12. Damage: $500

Theft of a TV was reported at 10:39 p.m. April 15 from Eighth Street. Loss: $1,000.

Hit-and-run

An unknown vehicle struck the curb and post pole at 2:34 a.m. April 16 at Second and Division streets. The vehicle appeared to have sustained heavy front end damage as there were large pieces of vehicle debris left behind.

Counterfeit

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 12:20 p.m. April 20 from First National Bank on East Locust Street. Staff told police the bill came from St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, who had no information as to the source of the bill.

Battery

Police responded to a fight between two juveniles at 11:21 a.m. April 22 at the River Falls Middle School. One juvenile was referred for battery charges.

Damages

Property damage was observed at 1:59 a.m. April 24 on Main Street. An officer found a parking sign pole bent over blocking the sidewalk. Damage: $40.
