Initial appearances

Nicholas L. Bard, 27, Ellsworth, was ordered to pay $100 cash bail on felony possess with intent-THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges Jan. 24. The charges stemmed from a Dec. 14 incident in River Falls.

Timothy J. Eaton, 37, Prescott, posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse), felony possession of methamphetamine and battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain/injury) charges Jan. 25. The charges resulted from a Jan. 24 incident in Prescott.

Kim G. Halverson, 60, River Falls, posted a $30,000 signature bond on a felony second degree recklessly endangering safety charge Jan. 23. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 22 incident in the town of River Falls.

Thomas C. Huber, 37, St. Paul, posted a $5,000 signature bond on a felony OWI-fourth charge Jan. 23. The charge resulted from a Jan. 22 incident in River Falls.

Shawn M. Krasky, 38, River Falls, waived extradition Jan. 23 to Dakota County, Minn., where he allegedly failed to appear Oct. 23 for a probation violation hearing. He was charged in 2015 with felony state lottery fraud (claim prize by deceit).

James M. Leonard, 25, Ellsworth, was ordered to pay $150 cash bail on felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges Jan. 24. The charges stemmed from a Jan. 23 incident in Bay City.

Pierre M. Moore, 32, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond on felony threat or battery to judge/prosecutor/law enforcement officer, resisting/obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct charges Jan. 22. The charges resulted from a Jan. 18 incident in River Falls.

Moses L. Sheffel, 23, Amery, pleaded innocent and posted a $10,000 signature bond on two retail theft-intentionally take charges Jan. 24. The charges stemmed from incidents Nov. 20 and 23 in River Falls.

Closed cases

Kyle M. Brown, 38, Ellsworth, was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay $443 in fines at a Jan. 22 deferred judgment of conviction agreement revocation hearing stemming from a disorderly conduct charge. The charge resulted from a Jan. 4, 2018 incident in Ellsworth.

Zakaria A. Isse, 24, St. Paul, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Jan. 22. The charge stemmed from an April 17, 2017 incident in River Falls.

Misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges against Cory M. Metcalf, 37,

Ellsworth, were dismissed before initial appearance Jan. 24. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 7 incident in the town of Ellsworth.

Greg K. Morseth, 44, St. Paul, was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay $1,329 in fines after a deferred judgment of conviction agreement was revoked Jan. 14. He was found guilty of battery, domestic disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping Nov. 5, 2018 but had entered a DJOC agreement on those charges. Domestic disorderly conduct (two) and misdemeanor bail jumping charges were read-in Jan. 24 but dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Sept. 8, Oct. 22, Nov. 27 and Dec. 3 in River Falls.

Jonathon D. Olson, 27, Ellsworth, was convicted of neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) and felony possession of methamphetamine, sentenced to 15 months in prison and two years of extended supervision, sentenced to 57 days in jail (57 days credit given) and fined $961 Jan. 23. Information was filed on a possess drug paraphernalia charge. The charges stemmed from an Aug. 13 incident in the town of Trimbelle.

Joshua J. Reeverts, 22, Beldenville, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and three years of extended supervision at a probation revocation sentencing hearing Jan. 22, stemming from July 20, 2017 take and drive vehicle without consent, OWI-third and vehicle operator flee/elude officer convictions. The charges resulted from an April 28, 2017 incident in the town of River Falls. He was also convicted of disorderly conduct and sentenced to time served in jail. That charge stemmed from a Feb. 25, 2018 incident in Ellsworth.

Allen G. Thomas, 55, Pepin, was convicted of theft-movable property, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $443 Jan. 15. The charge stemmed from a July 8, 2016 incident in Prescott.

Deferred prosecution

Hailey A. Anderson, 40, River Falls, was convicted of possess drug paraphernalia, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $443 Jan 17. She also pleaded guilty to and entered a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a possess with intent-THC charge. The charges resulted from an Aug. 23, 2017 incident in River Falls.

Jasmine J. Johnson, 24, Barron, pleaded guilty to and entered a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a resisting/obstructing an officer charge Jan. 14. A domestic disorderly conduct charge was dismissed. The charge stemmed from an April 9 incident in River Falls.
