River Falls police reports: Burglary reports; Credit card skimmer
Juvenile runaway/ battery
At 4:39 p.m. May 23, police were sent to the 600 block of Clark Street for a report of a River Falls juvenile allegedly throwing rocks at two adults. The juvenile had been returned home by police two hours earlier after having been reported a runaway. After throwing the rocks, the juvenile ran away again. The juvenile wasfound at the public library and taken into police custody.
• On May 24, police were sent to the 200 block of Broadway Street for a report of a burglary In progress. Dispatch said an unknown male was found in the garage of a residence, and had been in the caller's car at one point. A resident who saw the suspect said the man appeared to be mid-30s, white, and about 6 foot 1. When police arrived the suspect had run.
• On May 25, police were sent to River Falls Mini Storage, 258 Summit St., for a missing storage unit door handle/latch. A different lock was on the door. When the unit was opened, the renter found many items that were not his in the unit. These included old tires, gas cans and a hose on a hose reel/cart. Many tools and power tools, were reported missing including a table saw and stand.
Credit card skimmer
At 7:17 a.m. May 25, police were sent to WESTConsin Credit Union for a report of a card skimmer that had been placed on the ATM in the WESTConsin parking lot. A suspect was seen placing the skimmer on the ATM in security video from the machine.
