River Falls Police: Torn up grass, found property

Found property

At 9 a.m. Friday March 23 police were contacted by staff at Comforts of Home Senior Living. A package was sent to a return address at Comforts of Home, though the name on the package did not belong to any current Comforts of Home residents. Several driver's licenses were reportedly in the package. The licenses were believed to be fake. The package was turned over to police.

Sticky fingers

• At 1:15 p.m. Friday, March 23, a theft was reported to police. A River Falls resident reported that it appeared someone had attempted to remove the registration year sticker from her license plate. About three-fourths of the sticker had been removed.

• At 9:24 p.m. March 27, police were sent to Kwik Trip, 1200 S. Main St., where staff reported that a man had snuck a can of beer out of the store in his coat. This was reportedly caught on video.

Damage to property

On Tuesday, March 27, police were sent to speak with an employee of NCCM (2555 Prairie Drive). The employee reported someone had driven on the NCCM lawn causing large ruts and torn up grass.
