River Falls area residents asked to support ‘Moola for Milk’
ELLSWORTH – The Hunger Prevention Council of Pierce County, Inc. has launched its Fall Moola for Milk Campaign.
The program provides fresh milk to food pantry and weekend backpack participants. It is completely funded by local donations.
The need for milk is still high in the food pantries. All proceeds from this drive go directly to the local food pantries.
Hunger Prevention Council coordinator Sarah Johnson urges people to give generously when they see the white milk jug at their local church and to consider a direct donation to Moola for Milk.
Donations can be mailed to Hunger Prevention Council, PO Box 201, Ellsworth, WI 54011. Checks should be made out to Hunger Prevention Council.
Says Johnson, “Thirsty children thank you.”
