ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for New Restroom & Pavilion will be received by the Town of Troy, Town Clerk, at the Town Hall, 654 Glover Road, Hudson, WI, by 12:00 p.m., local time, April 25, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The work in general will include the following: A single lump sum contract for the construction of a new Park Pavilion and Restrooms with related site improvements. The project is located on approximately 40 acres, with approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of site development, including the construction of a 1,440 sq. ft. building. The building's superstructure is masonry and wood construction with concrete slab and foundations, pre-engineered wood roof trusses and precast concrete plank ceiling. Exterior finishes consist of composite siding and split face CMU. The building consists of approximately 720 sq. ft. of open-air pavilion, approximately 300 sq. ft. of community warming kitchen with remaining being restrooms.
The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law.

Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of opening. The Town of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
