A pizza party was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Westside School to celebrate another successful year of the Rotary Reader program. Each week during the school year, volunteers from the River Falls Rotary Club meet with individual students and read with them. Each student received the gift of a book by the RF Rotary Club.

The Rotary Reader Program is coordinated by Kari Owens, Title 1 reading teacher at Westside Elementary School.

The River Falls Rotary Club's motto is "Enhancing opportunities for youth; creating a better world for all." The River Falls Rotary meets the first, second and third Tuesday at 7 a.m. at Ezekiel Lutheran Church (202 S. Second St.) On the fourth Tuesday of the month, the meeting is held at noon at Ezekiel. Meals are served and all are welcome to attend a meeting.
