River Falls celebrated National Night Out Tuesday evening, Aug. 7 at several locations around town, one of which was Our Neighbors' Place.

According to ONP Director Shelly Smith, the event was busy all evening.

"It was a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors and the community to support the work of the local fire, EMS, and police," Smith said.

ONP's event included face painting, a bouncy house, bean bag toss, root beer floats and snacks, as well as visits from the River Falls EMS, Fire, and Police departments, and the Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA).

The event was co-sponsored by Dick's Fresh Market, the River Falls Housing Authority and River Falls Optimist Club.

A free will donation yard sale collected $235 for ONP.
