For a group in Stillwater, Let's Go Fishing is the name of their organization that takes people fishing on the St. Croix River who would otherwise not have the opportunity to go. Formerly known as the Stillwater Chapter, the group became the 27th Let's Go Fishing chapter in Minnesota in 2010. However within the last month the group has changed its name to the St. Croix Valley Chapter, reflecting the interest and support it has been receiving from both sides of the St.

A group of young men, including Vier, entered the River Falls Day's softball tournament with the hope of winning so they could give the prize money to Rhino to help with his expenses.

Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for deer this time of year as does search for places to give birth and young deer separate from their mothers. With this increased activity, drivers may encounter more deer darting into the paths of their vehicles without warning. Although motor vehicle collisions with deer peak in the fall months, June is one of the worst months for driver and passenger injuries due to deer crashes.
