The John Doar History Trail became the 576th addition to the Wisconsin Historical Society Historical Marker Program at a ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at the New Richmond Civic Center. Grave markers at Glass Valley Cemetery, in the town of River Falls, range from very old to newer in appearance. The public was invited to a "Cemetery Walk" event Sunday afternoon, at which actors dressed up to portray a selection of people buried in the cemetery and bring some of their stories to life.
