The River Falls High School Marching Wildcats took two firsts and all caption awards, including Best Musical Performance, Best Visual Show, Best Color Guard and Best Percussion, the weekend of Oct.1-2 at competitions in Schofield and Merrill. Its show, "Somewhere Over a Nightmare," features an 18-foot bed that introduces the show and is used throughout the show for various color guard and band maneuvers. The 115-member band competes next in Chippewa Falls Oct. 8 and in Menomonie Oct. 9.
