Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in the 100 block of West Cedar Street is the site of the old Behrend’s Auto Parts building and across a green space from City Hall. The display windows are where a stage for poets, storytellers and musicians will be used for the first ReStore Reads.

The “Bird is the Word” playhouse is shown in St. Croix County Parks’s Bookworm Trail. The house, sponsored and built by the River Falls-based St. Croix Valley Bird Club, is one of four so far, along the trail. All are designed to let kids play and learn at the same time.
