Gene Huppert is pictured with the second wolf killed in the Big River area this month. He reported while deer hunting the male brown brush wolf was flushed out during a drive, was fast and evasive and after hit, rolled down a small hill snarling all the way down. Well over 200 sheep have been lost by farmers in the area and the wolves are blamed for the killings. Earlier this month a female brush wolf was caught in a trap on the Karl Kodosky farm.
