Skorseth is a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and a three-time letterwinner in gymnastics and maintains a 4.0 GPA. She will be attending DePaul University on a track and cross country scholarship in the fall.
She is just the third River Falls student to receive the award, joining Jarod Wollan in 1996 and Tony Black in 1999. The WIAA Scholar Athlete program was launched in 1984 to honor scholastic and athletic excellence.
