The River Falls Fighting Fish won two of three games last week to maintain their one game lead over Menomonie in the St. Croix Valley Baseball League standings.

The Fish dropped a 4-1 decision at New Richmond last Wednesday before winning twice over the weekend -- 10-2 Saturday at St. Croix Falls and 18-8 Sunday at home over Hager City.

River Falls is now 10-3 in the SCVBL, one game ahead of 9-4 Menomonie. The Fish will play at Osceola (7-4) Wednesday night, July 21, before hosting the Stillwater Loggers in a non-league game Saturday and the Prescott Pirates (8-5) in a SCVBL matchup Sunday, both at 1 p.m. at the high school field.
