Zane Heinselman scored two goals and Austin Saari had a goal and two assists to help the Wildcat boys' soccer team to its first win of the season, a 3-0 victory at Menomonie, last Tuesday.

The Cats made it two wins in a row with a 5-1 nonconference win over Osceola Thursday. They will return to BRC play at Eau Claire North Thursday and visit Chippewa Falls Tuesday, Sept. 22, before hosting Hudson on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Last Tuesday in Menomonie, Heinselman put River Falls on the board early with a goal in the second minute of the game, assisted by Saari.

The pair would hook up again in the 62nd minute when Heinselman scored his second goal of the game to give River Falls a 2-0 lead. Saari added an unassisted goal six minutes later to make the final 3-0.

Ross Andersen picked up the shutout in goal as each team finished with 13 shots.
