Rachel L. Perry

Rachel L. Perry, 51, resident of River Falls, WI, died October 14, 2017 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN after a lengthy illness. Born May 20, 1966 in Tacoma, Washington, Rachel grew up in Rochester, MN. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Dance from UW-River Falls in 1991, and remained a resident of River Falls until her death. Rachel's greatest passion was dance; she previously taught ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance at Helmer Dance Studio in Beldenville and Hudson, WI. Rachel's choreography won several awards at local, regional, and national competitions. Rachel always enjoyed the country life and loved to cook, crochet, fish, and spend time with family and friends. Rachel is survived by her parents, Lawrence and Jody Perry, brothers Chris (Ellie) Perry, Dana (Amy) Perry, Ray (Alisa) Perry; sisters Betsy (Stan Pelto) Perry, Cathy Perry, Starr (Jim Burns) Jenkins; two nephews; four nieces, and her cat Stache. A celebration of Rachel's life will be held 1pm-4pm, December 2, 2017 at Maverick's Corner Saloon, 128 N Main ST, River Falls, WI.
