Anne Kerfoot, 76
Anne L. Kerfoot, 76, long-time River Falls resident, Westside School teacher, avid gardener, bridge player and watercolor artist, passed away in her home in El Segundo, Calif., last weekend.
River Falls offered Anne wonderful community life after her world-traveling youth. Anne was the daughter of a Navel Captain. She was born in the Panama Canal Zone, lived in 48 states, as well as having lived in post World War II occupied Japan. Graduate of Bryn Mawr College, she was a Spanish major and studied one year abroad in Spain.
She was married to Dr. James Kerfoot - professor of Education at UWRF for over 40 years. Dr. Kerfoot died in May 2012.
Anne is survived by her daughter Elaine Murphy Keller, El Segundo, Calif.; and step-children: Mark Kerfoot, Shell Lake, Wisc., and Schelle Kerfoot Barr, Woodbury, Minn.
