Dan Toland relected in landslide vote

Incumbent River Falls Mayor Dan Toland will have two more years in office. He won the April 1 election, getting close to twice as many votes as challenger former Mayor Don Richards.

According to the unofficial results, Toland received 814 votes. Richards received 450 votes.

School board incumbents Rich Gerczak and Stacy Johnson Myers were also reelected. Johnson Myers received 1,287 votes, Gerczak received 1,060 votes and challenger Mark Nippoldt received 444 votes.
