Hak Cheol (H.C.) Shin, vice chair and executive vice president of 3M Research and Development, Supply Chain, Business Transformation/IT, and Business Development, is the 2018 Innovator in Residence speaker at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Thursday, March 8, at 1 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, University Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Shin will speak about leadership and innovation as it relates to the changing business landscape, how the innovation process functions, industry 4.0 and the implications for innovation and growth, leadership principles, innovation leadership, and his personal journey of philosophy of innovation.
A native of South Korea, Shin earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Seoul National University. He has worked for 3M since 1984.
