UWRF professor to be featured on public radio

 A professor and author from the UW-River Falls will discuss the discipline of social work on Spectrum West from Wisconsin Public Radio’s Ideas Network Thursday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.

The show will also feature Bridge to Hope and its upcoming benefit in Menomonie, the production of Almost Maine at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and the award-winning Eau Claire area Master Gardeners Programs.

Host Al Ross welcomes Ogden Rogers, professor and chair of the department of social work at UWRF.

Rogers has written a collection of essays, poems and other writings about life and social work.

He will discuss his career and new book called "Beginnings, Middles & Ends-Sideways Stories on the Art & Soul of Social Work."
