After 6 decades, Maiden Rock '53 grads go back to school

MAIDEN ROCK--When is it permissible for a graduate of a community school to sleep overnight there?

When the school's been converted into a lodging establishment and it's become a place to stay for several alumni attending their class reunion.

Harriet Rothe, a member of the former Maiden Rock High School Class of 1953, not only posed this question and answered it herself to be appreciated as a novelty, but is among organizers of a reunion creating this situation. Several of her fellow '53 classmates will lodge at the Maiden Rock Inn, the bed-and-breakfast which was once the community's school building, when they come for the 60th reunion Saturday, June 15.
