At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash in River Falls.

Authorities were called just before 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, for a crash at County Road U and Chapman Drive.

Firefighters and EMS workers were seen removing one person from a passenger car and loading that person into an ambulance. Scanner transmissions indicated the ambulance was bound for Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

A dump truck also involved in the crash could be seen in a ditch along the northbound lane of County Road U.

Deputies were assisted by River Falls police, EMS and firefighters. A River Falls officer said the Wisconsin State Patrol was also investigating the crash since it involved a commercially regulated dump truck.

More information on the crash will be posted as it becomes available.
