'One Acts With Snacks' begins Friday in River Falls

The River Falls Community Theatre will present "One Acts with Snacks" at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 20, 21, 27 and 28, at the River Falls Golf Course. Doors open at 6:30 with live music each night at 7 p.m.

Recommended for mature audiences, the six one-act performances will include:

"French Toast," written by Donald Payton, directed by Janan Terpstra, starring Sam Hammerback, Jack Hayes, Jayne Esch, Jeneen Lauch, Gail Upton and Kellie Burrows

"De Saga of Torvald Torkelson," based on poems by Marriot Edgar, adapted by Bernie Brohaugh, starring Bernie Brohaugh, Steve Preisler, Marylee Schmahl and Jake Jacobson

"Dinner Plans," written by Vicki Bartholomew, directed by KayLee Penton, starring Gail Upton, Nicole Gorman, Nancy Miller, Kari Hussey and Kellie Burrows

"Ferris Wheel," written by Mary Miller, directed by Sandee Blakeley, starring Jennifer Larsen and Chris Olson

"The DMV One," written by Nick Zagone, directed by Karl Nilsen, starring Jennifer Larsen, Sam Hammerback and Patrice Veit

"Controlling Interest," written by Wayne Rawley, directed by David Markson, starring Rick Burgsteiner, Jake Jacobson, Jack Hayes, Paul Loaney, Patrice Veit and Kellie Burrows.

Tickets are $10 and available at The Dish and The Spoon Café or at the door.
