Lions Club holds egg-cellent Easter event

The River Falls High School was taken over on Saturday, March 23 by more than 450 kids looking for eggs during the Lions Club annual Easter egg hunt.

Over 2,700 colorful eggs greeted the hunters with 88 volunteers running, games, painting faces, checking people in, selling concessions and more. Volunteers also collected over 60 eyeglasses and six cell phones during the event. The "Grumpy Old Men" setup outside and collected 285 pounds of food and $106 for the local food shelf.
