Passover Seder at First Covenant Church

Pastor Daniel Lancaster and Messianic musician Troy Mitchell (with guitar) will be leading a traditional Jewish Passover Seder on Maundy Thursday, March 28, at First Covenant Church of River Falls

As part of the Holy Week reflections prior to Easter, First Covenant Church of River Falls, 1374 N. Main Street, will be hosting two Seder Experiences at 5:15 and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.

Two representatives of a Messianic Jewish congregation, Pastor Daniel Lancaster and musician Troy Mitchell, will be leading the traditional Jewish Passover service.

With the roots of Christianity being in the Jewish tradition, they will be sharing the significance of this most sacred of Jewish celebrations to Christians.

"We invite anyone to join us to discover Christ in the Passover by experiencing an authentic Jewish Seder," says First Covenant's Pastor Todd Ertsgaard. "We look forward to connecting with the heritage of Christianity and seeing how the practices of historic Judaism are still relevant to us today."
