Lost Shakespearian play can be discovered at UWRF

At 3 p.m. Thursday, April 18, the UW-River Falls College of Arts and Sciences presents "The Tragedy of Arthur," the story by Arthur Phillips about William Shakespeare's lost play on King Arthur. The author, Phillips, will be present.

A brief scene from the play will be enacted, possibly by one or more actors named Arthur. Everyone is encouraged to come for the show and inquire.

The site for this drama is The Sanford Syse ("Black Box") Theater at the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building on campus.

Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is limited.

Sponsors are the College of Arts and Sciences, the departments of English and Theatre Arts, the St. Croix Valley Foundation, the Wisconsin Arts Board, Valley Bookseller, the Friends @ the Stillwater Public Library, and Festival Theatre.
