Boondoggle, a 5-piece rock, country and blues band from Roberts, WI, will anchor the new Hudson Hometown Music Fest on Saturday, September 26. The family friendly fest starts at noon at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 502 County Road UU, and runs until 9:30 pm. Admission is free. Julie Green, formerly of Prescott, now of Hudson, shows the last of her 16 Station of the Cross paintings displayed on both sides of St. Bridget’s Catholic Church’s nave in River Falls. The Stations of the Cross are a series of pictures or carvings representing Jesus’ progress from condemnation by Pilate to his crucifixion and burial. The image Green holds shows the arrest of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane.
