Kids and adults can marvel at library's science exhibit

This pig with one head and two bodies is on display at the River Falls Public Library. The library's Summer Science Exhibit features a variety of animals and other curiosities.

Youngsters in the area are able to see, feel and experience science at the River Falls Public Library's Summer Science Exhibit.

Katie Chaffee, event coordinator at the library, spent countless hours researching and organizing the hands-on experience that brings science close to home.

"Not everyone can afford to go to a science museum," said Chaffee. "People are experiencing things they don't have the opportunity to see or do."

The exhibit goes along with the library's summer reading program "Fizz, Boom, Read".

While it's geared towards kids, Chaffee said adults enjoy it as well.

The Summer Science Exhibit runs through Saturday, July 12. It is located downstairs in the gallery most days from 10a.m. to the library's close.
