Community joins forces to benefit Special Olympics

Community members and local law enforcement biked 12 miles today in support of the Special Olympics.

The group started their bike ride at 10a.m. in O Lot at UW-River Falls and ended at the St. Croix County Government Center in Hudson.

Police departments in St. Croix Falls, Osceloa and Somerset all are participating in Western Wisconsin Final Leg bike rides. These Final Leg events are part of the Special Olympics Torch Run campaign.

Police escorted the group of 12 bikers along their route.
