River Falls Days kicks off

On Thursday afternoon, the carnival and food tents were being set-up in the area of Second and Locust streets and Second and Spring streets for the annual River Falls Days celebration.

Festivities will commence later in the day Thursday, July 11, with the slider eating contest, street dance, ambassador crowning and more.

On Friday, the medallion hunt, parade, bingo, carnival and more will be held. Additional events like the foot races, truck, tractor, and garden tractor pull, car show, water fights, fireworks and more will be held Saturday and Sunday.

Throughout the four-day event there are community-wide garage sales, as well as food and beer vendors and downtown and Riverwalk merchant sales.
