Lisa Wheeler has accepted the job of vice president for student affairs at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn. Wheeler, who lives in River Falls, is the current interim vice chancellor for administration and finance at UW-River Falls.
UW-River Falls Associate Professor of Biology Timothy Lyden, Ph.D., organized an event this past Monday to launch the new Tissue and Cellular Innovation Center at UW-RF with academic, clinical, industrial, scientific and political heavy weights in attendance.
UW-River Falls will host International Education Week Monday through Friday, Nov. 17-21, to highlight the international expertise of the UW-RF faculty and staff, regional high school and middle school teachers, and students from the campus and surrounding communities.
