Greenwood Elementary School’s Feb. 23 annual winter carnival brought lots of fun for scores of families and children and raised about $7,000 -- of that, more than $4,800 from a silent auction -- for the school to use for playground upgrades and new classroom technologies.
School starts Wednesday, Sept. 1, and those big yellow buses will be back on the road transporting middle and high school students. Please note that all public and private elementary parents will be responsible for transporting their students on the first day only, Sept. 1.
