Meyer Middle School eighth-graders Anna Brettingen, Pam Xiong, Lacey Killian and Madie Yunker, joined peers from the eighth-grade Select Choir in singing “Night of Silence” during the Eighth-Grade Holiday Concert.
Twelve students were recently recognized by their teachers, two from each grade level and house, at Meyer Middle School during the month of October, due to the outstanding work and social and academic skills displayed in their respective classrooms.

Thirteen-year-old Sam Anderson, the son of Laura and Mark Anderson of River Falls, is the receipient of a $50 savings bond from WESTconsin Credit Union for his winning essay submission, “Why I’m Growing My Green.”
Meyer Middle School Counselor Gary Campbell and the school’s Teens As Teachers group stopped by the Journal building, 2815 Prairie Drive, as well as other businesses in the River Falls area last week. They were donating and delivering a book to be used as reading material in reception areas.
