This is the time of year musky hunters are out in full force: Eighty-pound test line tied to a Calcutta musky reel; leaders that go over 100-pounds; lures that often are the size of the catch of many anglers; lures with names like Bull Dawgs, Cisco, Suick, Cowbells, Showgirls; and buck tailed spinners of every shape, color and size.
I couldn’t believe Josh was into a big fish so soon. We had just finished setting up the tents. I hadn’t even gotten my clothes unpacked when I realized Josh had taken off in his kayak and was fishing already.

It’s all about obedience. When you are training a dog that’s past the puppy stage there is one word that has to fall into place. It’s called control, and with control comes obedience. It’s not something that you do once and forget about either. Rather, for real control and obedience, you have to drill it in when the dog is young and then go into refresher courses when the dog gets older and slips back into old habits.
