Wildcat senior Casey Jerry scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the Section 1 team’s 4-2 victory over Section 6 in the third place game at the Wisconsin Senior Class Tournament in Waupun March 24.
The St. Croix Valley Fusion girls’ hockey team advanced to the sectional final with a 3-1 victory over the Burnett County Blizzard last Tuesday, but couldn’t get past the top-seed Hayward Hurricanes Saturday and ended their season with a 3-1 loss.
