Feyereisen gets call from the Northwoods League
Following a stellar freshman season at UW-Stevens Point and after posting a 7-1 record with the River Falls Fighting Fish, pitcher J.P. Feyereisen signed a 12-day contract last week to play for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the prestigious Northwoods League.

Fish feast on familiar foes
Veteran Fighting Fish catcher Joel Schaffer watches his two-run home run head towards the high school soccer practice fields deep beyond the right field fence in the sixth inning of the Fish’s St. Croix Valley Baseball League game against the Hudson River Rats Saturday, June 23. Schaffer’s bomb gave River Falls an 11-4 lead as the Fish went on to close out the River Rats, 14-4, in seven innings.
