The UW-River Falls Hall of Fame Class of 2011 was honored at halftime of the Falcons’ Homecoming football game against UW-Whitewater Saturday at Ramer Field. Falcon hoops hosts Midnight Madness
The UW-River Falls men’s and women’s basketball teams will kick off the 2011-12 season with a Midnight Madness Whiteout Saturday, Oct. 15, into Sunday, Oct. 16.
Karges Center doors open at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, and the event will run from midnight to 1 a.m. The first 150 fans will receive a free “Karges Krazies” t-shirt.

The UW-River Falls soccer team won a pair of home games over the weekend, knocking off 19th-ranked UW-Stevens Point, 2-1, Saturday before rolling over Ripon, 7-1, on Sunday.

Falcons claim WIAC softball title
Less than one week after winning the conference regular season crown, the UW-River Falls softball team went 4-0 on its home field over the weekend to capture the WIAC Tournament championship and earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament, which begins this week with regional play in Eau Claire.
