Lovers of the Arts, here’s a gift you can give yourself and the community! The RF Community Arts Base, our premiere local arts organization, needs you, and/or people you think would relish the opportunity, to become a member of the all-volunteer CAB board. This is a working board comprised of artists and people with a strong interest in advancing the arts in our region.

Their “Best Christmas…”
The youthful cast from River Falls Community Theatre’s production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” performs two more times this weekend: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, and Saturday, Dec. 10, at the UW-River Falls North Hall Auditorium. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for people 62 or older and for students, and $6 for children younger than 13. Buy tickets at the door or in advance at the Dish and Spoon Café, 208 N. Main St.

Art career presentation Sept. 15
UW-River Falls Bachelor of Fine Arts printmaking alumnus Joseph Smolinski will give a presentation about his artwork and art career in the Kinnickinnic Theater in the University Center from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. The event is free and open to the public.

Dish and the Spoon owner performs in outdoor show
The Dish and the Spoon Cafe in River Falls is hosting outdoor theater this weekend, Aug. 4, 5, and 6 and next weekend Aug. 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30 p.m. Four of the plays were writen by Rick Burgsteiner of River Falls.
