Cosmic Science discussed Nov. 10
On Thursday Nov. 10, The Dish and Spoon Café on Main Street will be hosting a Cosmic Science Café about the nature of space and time from 7-8 p.m. A science café is a live—and lively—event in a casual setting: Cafés have been held in pubs, restaurants, actual cafes, and even in a bowling alley. There is no stuffy lecture or slideshow -- the speaker presents the science in lay terms and facilitates a dynamic conversation with a diverse audience.

Student Senate condemns budget cuts
The UW-River Falls Student Senate passed a resolution condemning the disproportionate budget cuts to the UW System as released by the Wisconsin Department of Administration.
