Raina Albores, a third grade River Falls student, competed in the USAG gymnastics level 5 meet in Minnesota recently and scored 33.475 in all-around, which meets the qualifications to compete in the Minnesota State Gymnastics meet.

Benefit dinner Saturday for new gymnastics facility
The River Falls Gymnastics Club, as part of its “Flip for Gymnastics” campaign, will host its second annual benefit dinner this Saturday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m., in the banquet room at the Best Western Hotel on Main and Spring streets.

Eight gymnasts all-state

Paulson, Guise win state gymnastics titles
Senior Rachel Paulson became the first all-around champion in River Falls’ history and Amanda Guise became the first Wildcat freshman to win a state title at the WIAA State Individual Gymnastics Championships Friday night in Wisconsin Rapids. The Wildcats finished second in Saturday's state team competition.

Gymnasts make it eight straight
The Wildcat gymnastics team qualified for the WIAA State Gymnastics Championship Tournament for the eight straight year by winning the Division 2 sectional tourney Saturday in River Falls.
The Cat set a new school record with a total team score of 146.45. Six individuals also qualified for the state individual championships. The individual state tournament will take place Friday and the team tournament Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.
